City of Sparks recently issued the following announcement.
DEER PARK POOL – Recreation Swim August 21 – 22

Take advantage of the heated, outdoor swimming facility located in Deer Park at 1700 Prater Way. All ages will enjoy cooling off in this zero entry pool nestled in a beautiful park setting.
Recreation Swim:
WHEN: Sat – Sun, August 21 – 22
TIME:
Open swim is offered in sessions with a maximum of 75 participants per session, on a first come, first serve basis.
Session times are listed below:
Session 1: 11:45am-2:30pm
Session 2: 2:45pm –4:45 pm
COVID-19 UPDATES
Due to Covid-19, customers will not be allowed to change in the locker rooms.
Customers are required to bring a bag for their personal belongings that will be kept on the pool deck.
COST:
Youth (under 18 yrs.) $3
Adult (18 yrs. – 54 yrs.) $5
Senior (55 yrs. & Older) $4
Family (up to 6 members) $15
ALMOST FREE TUESDAYS! All ages can swim for $2 each.
Additionally, Deer Pool will be open the following dates in 2021:
Daily, June 10 – August 8
Sat – Sun, August 14 – 15
Sat – Sun, August 21 – 22
Sat – Sun, August 28 – 29
Sat – Mon, September 4 – 6
