City of Sparks recently issued the following announcement on September 20.
Support a great cause by taking part in the City of Sparks Mayor’s Cup Golf Tournament on Friday, October 15th, 2021 at Red Hawk Golf and Resort. Now in its 18th year, the tournament features a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. and a four-person scramble format. Proceeds benefit the Sparks Youth Scholarship Fund which enables children and teens from low-income households to participate in recreation programs.
The Mayor’s Cup entry fee is $120 per player or $440 for a team. There will be hole-in-one prizes and contests for closest to the hole/longest drive. An award luncheon sponsored by Lithia Chrysler Jeep of Reno will follow play. Interested in sponsoring a hole? Golf hole sponsorships with logo signage are offered for $100 each.
