Washoe County issued the following announcement on October 22.
Washoe County Library System is making planned renovations to the public spaces at the Northwest Reno Library, located at 2325 Robb Drive in Reno. The building will be closed to the public starting Monday, October 25, with access to the drive-up window and book drop remaining in place through Friday, November 5. The branch will fully close on Saturday, November 6 with an anticipated reopening planned for January 2022.
Northwest Reno Library patrons are reminded to visit washoecountylibrary.us/libraries to choose an alternate location for the transfer of hold items and the return of library materials. Library events and programs available at other branches can be found at washoecountylibrary.us/events.
Funding for the renovations was provided by Washoe County in partnership with the Tacchino Trust. These improvements are part of an ongoing effort by Washoe County Library System to ensure that a first-class library system is available to all our patrons. The support of the community is appreciated during this process, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
All other branch locations remain open. For the most up-to-date information on library hours and services, please visit washoecountylibrary.us.
