City of Reno recently issued the following announcement.
The City of Reno and partners will host a virtual Virginia Range Horses Informational Session on Thursday, February 10, 2022, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The meeting is meant to hear the community's comments, feedback, and suggestions on how to improve the current traffic and safety issues related to Virginia Range horses.
Ward 2 Reno City Councilmember Naomi Duerr, Washoe County Commissioner Bob Lucey, City of Reno staff, Washoe County staff, Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) staff, and members of the Wild Horse Connection and American Wild Horse Campaign will team up to present information and explain how the partners are working together. The meeting will also include an informal Q&A session.
Virtual Participation
In order to make the meeting as accessible as possible to anyone who wants to participate, the meeting will be held virtually. Residents can register to participate virtually by Zoom.
Have Questions?
A significant portion of the meeting will be devoted to questions and answers. All attendees will have an equal opportunity to participate. Meeting facilitators will do their best to answer all questions asked during the meeting. To help with that, residents may also submit written questions in advance.
