City of Sparks recently issued the following announcement.
Beginning tomorrow, Wednesday March 2, 2022, a section of the Sparks Marina parking lot and path will be closed and pedestrians detoured to accommodate construction of the Marina Rock Wall and Stairway Project.
The closed section is located on the west side of the Sparks Marina near Howard Drive and the Western Village Inn parking lot. Path users will be detoured around the construction zone and northbound vehicle traffic will be detoured around the Western Village Inn to Nichols Boulevard. The closure is expected through May 2022.
