West Wendover Part Time Fire Fighter Carter Bones Receives 5 Year Service Award

West

City of West Wendover recently issued the following announcement.

On Tuesday May 10th, West Wendover Part Time Fire Fighter Carter Bones received his 5-year service award by City Manager Chris Melville.  Carter began his service as a Fire Fighter with the City in the spring of 2017 while spending some time in the community and inquiring with the Fire Department about any possible work.   He was told that the Fire Department is always grateful to accept individuals who want to participate in the fire service and to submit an application, which he did.   He was hired and since taking that position Carter has established roots in the community he now serves.   In addition to his employment as a Part Time Firefighter with the West Wendover Fire Department, Carter also volunteers as a Fire Fighter for the Wendover, Utah Fire Department and oversees the Wendover Airport Fire Department.  He is employed full time as a Senior Airport Operations Specialist with Wendover Airport.

Congratulations Carter, thank you for your service!
