Washoe County School District recently issued the following announcement.
Washoe County School District (WCSD) Instructional Materials Division is inviting the public to view and provide comment for prospective high school economics instructional materials (textbooks) prior to making a final recommendation for adoption to the Washoe County School District Board of Trustees.
The selected instructional materials will be available digitally for public viewing and comment from February 28, 2022, to March 11, 2022. People wishing to view and provide comment can do so by visiting https://washoeschools.net/page/17609.

“Soliciting public comment is an important part of our Instructional Materials/Textbook Adoption process,” explains WCSD Instructional Materials Facilitator Ellen Badger. “The perspective of our community, educators, families, and students is a valued factor in the recommendation for adoption made to the Board of Trustees. We invite all stakeholders to view the prospective high school economics instructional materials that will be used to support student learning in the fall of 2022.”
